In January we began our weekly gatherings around tables to love people like Jesus, form them into the image of Jesus, and commission them to do the work of Jesus. Here are some highlights, and a peek at what's coming next.

At the beginning of the school year we asked for a wish list of school supplies. Our people delivered! As I was packing up last week, the custodian gave me a hand-writtten note from the school that read, "Thank you so much for your generous donation of school supplies - our teachers were excited to receive them and our students appreciate them."

This is a great step in showing them that we're not here to take, we're here to bless in the name of Jesus.

It's been a journey of struggle, growth, and learning to follow Jesus day-by-day. Around our tables we've shared plenty of our triumphs and tears as we've strengthened our trust in God and one another. This coming Sunday is a structured time of prayer, journaling, and reflection to wrap up the series.

We're having our first official public Sunday service for Christmas on Dec 20! Be praying for who would benefit from being part of our discipleship community. We also are continuing to build up our children's ministry, greeters, and financial backing for a second full-time pastor.

This Saturday we're once again serving La Madera Elementary, building their gaga ball pit and doing campus cleanup. Pray for great conversations as we share the love of Jesus with the school.
